ITV PicturesX Factor hopeful Rylan Clark should be enjoying the time of his life at the moment as we wait to see if he'll make it through the the live shows, but the contestant has revealed he's been the victim of some nasty online abuse.
The openly gay singer confesses he's had some pretty serious threats on twitter following the screenings of his first audition on the ITV show. According to The Sun, the Essex boy says:
“I’ve had death threats, I’ve been told I’m going to be bottled and my face sliced open."
“At times it has killed me and it’s disgusting – some of these people act like I’m a murderer. It has made going out in public quite daunting.”

Rylan entertateined the judges with his rendition of Des'ree's 'Kissing You' in his first audition before making to Nicole Scherzinger's Judges Houses in Dubai. Last night viewers saw Rylan change tack with an accoustic performance of Rihanna's 'We Found Love' for Nic and guest judge Ne-Yo.
Rylan is upset by the downsides of his newfound fame though, telling The Sun that he fears for his sick mother's health following the online abuse:
“My mum’s not silly, she knows not everyone will like me. But reading comments threatening to break into my house and firebomb me would shock anyone.”
