With the auditions over and the bootcamp stage set to take place this weekend, the locations of where X Factor judges Gary Barlow, Nicole Scherzinger, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh took the hopefuls for the judges houses stage, has been revealed.

Following the tragic loss of his daughter Poppy, it is believed that Gary scrapped the idea of heading to Barcelona, opting for a stately mansion, Boughton House in Northamptonshire to choose who he wanted to take through to the live stages, according to the Mirror. Helping him make the decision was Cheryl Cole who made it clear that her return to the show had nothing to do with Simon Cowell and all to do with helping out her pal.

Newbie judge Nicole Scherzinger jet set her hopefuls to Dubai where she enlisted the help of US star Ne-Yo to help her decide who to take through to the next stage. However, whilst the location was breath-taking, the former Pussycat Doll reportedly found herself getting in trouble with the other holiday-goers. Oopsie!

Also opting to leave England's shores was Tulisa who arrived in St Lucia with mentor and rapper Tinie Tempah to choose her finalists. Lucky lot!

Normally used to taking his category back to his native Ireland, it is thought that Louis decided to switch things up a bit and take his hopefuls to Las Vegas. However if they thought that they could make most of their time in the gambling city, they were wrong, following reports that the judge slapped a curfew on his category.

So with the revelation, we can't wait to see the 12 hopefuls picked by the four judges on the finals shows.
