The second day of X Factor boot camp add pressure to everyone but for some contestants the second day was where they came into their own.

On the first day of boot camp we saw “beer-fear”’s Lucy Spraggan struggle without her guitar, during a rendition of Moves Like Jagger. However tonight she made a triumphant return with her guitar and sung another self-penned song, Tea And Toast.

This song, more emotional than ‘Last Night’, saw many of the audience left crying and Gary dub the performance “unbelievable” and “beautiful.

Nerves weren’t getting the better of Christopher Maloney tonight as he took to the stage saying he was going to “sing for my life,” and that he did.Tulisa told him he had stepped it up and Gary was equally impressed saying “What a voice.”

However it was Kye Sones who delivered the stand out performance of the night with Bonnie Raitt/George Michael/Adele’s “I can’t make you love me.” Before he went on stage he said he just needed “a break” and that he “wanted to get out there and go for it like it’s the last thing you’ll ever do.

On stage Kye told the judges he could fill the gap in Britain for a “big male new singer.” After his performance the Tulisa branded him “amazing” and Louis said his performance was “faultless.”

The contestants all fought for their place but only 24 were allowed to the judges house stage.

Find out who got through here!
