Whitney Houston Found Underwater In Hotel Bathtub By Entourage

Whitney Houston was reportedly found underwater in a bathtub at the Beverly Hilton Hotel by her hairdresser yesterday.

The 'Look To You' singer had been in the bathroom getting ready for the Clive Davis annual pre-Grammy Awards party yesterday, when her hairdresser and two bodyguards who were in the bedroom, began to worry when she had been in there for an hour.

Sources have told TMZ that when they began knocking on the door and there was no answer, the female hairdresser entered and screamed when she saw Whitney's face underwater.

Apparently, her body was slumped as though she had slid down the back of the bath.

One of the bodyguards went in and pulled her body out of the water and attempted to resuscitate her, but to no avail. After calling the hotel security, the paramedics were called and she was pronounced dead at 3:55pm.

It was previously reported that prescription pills were found in the hotel room, fuelling the theory that she had taken the medication causing her to fall into a heavy sleep in the bath.

Sermonising and Idolising and Fare-the -wells, and "I Love you R.I.P.'s" may salve our collective conscience but availeth nothing. It may mean nothing gto the secular God less world, but my take on this is based on the greatest scientist of all times, Albert Einstein, " There's no explanation for the universe but "God spoke it into existrence, Hebrews 11.3.". That said, This same good old book with its instructions is kicvked out the door world from the families, schools, councils, courts , you name it, even in this "GOD BLESS AMERICA" country..
Culture, Fashion everything replaced by same sex marriages, wild sex and drugs, ABUSE of the environment, body, soul, mind, the book predicts the doom the planet.and mankind. But there is hope of a new world., open to mone and all.God bless.

Sorry but showing respect for someone who as passed as nothing to do with salving my concience......had I known her I might just feel a prick of concience that I might have done more to get her away from the drug environment (which we dont know was the cause of her death) but as for salving the collective concience, spoken like a true messenger of god.......tell everyone they are sinners, tell everyone they are to blame and sit high in the knowledge that you have his ear and therefore are absolved.

Well said Lynne. Religion has been the cause of countless wars and caused so much misery and is an attempt to indoctrinate the weaker members of our society. and it does not surprise me that a Pastor uses Witney's death to 'sermonise' about the world's demons. Did he not get enough attention at school -?

No matter what the circumstances are of her death she was a fantastic singer and all of her songs have memories for us who grew up in the 80's.All classic songs and sang like nobody else could or ever will.Tragic end to a talented person.

I couldn't agree more. We grew up with this beautiful likeable woman, with a beautiful voice. Thank God she made movies so we will have very wonderful memories of her. 48 is so young. She had much more to offer us.

What is it with some of the sad, miserable, self righteous twats on here? Something tragic happens and they feel they have the right to make such disgusting odious comments about people they know nothing about! I hope their family and friends are more sympathetic if they ever fall on hard times or make the wrong choices!

I agree with your sentiment but you could make your point just as well without resorting to offensive language.

It's a shame such a talented singer has died so young, but it was only a matter of time really coz the drugs, but does she have to be on the front of every paper and every tv channel, wot about the 19 year old boy who got blown up in afgan, where is he mentioned, this country needs to get its priorities right, the soldier deserves just as much respect if not more, he died serving his country not snorting coke

I understand what you mean but let me say this. Yes, our soldiers are brave but so are every contries soldiers. They have have decided to take this path in life and unfortunately one of the risks is death as well as them killing people. They may kill someone who has a family, that family now has lost a parent and their life is shattered. A young child asking when Mummy or Daddy is coming home because another soldier killed them.

yes its sad im only 12 months older my self ,she wasnt my cup of tea as singers go but another loss at no age , it just goes to show money dosen't buy you happiness,
dolly partons original version of "i will always love you " is a greatly underated compared to whitney's version when dolly sings it you feel she sings it from the heart you know.
Thats not to take anything away from whitney's songs or singing its just how you can hear the differance between the two,
Anyhow another life taken too soon, its the folk left behind i feel sorry for ,sad day !

Bit odd ???to be found as Whitney was,..wasnt she keen to go to a grammy- party-bash ?
Bouncers at the door have long ears, believe it or not, even a slight noise from a bathroom ought to have been heard. Whitney looked and acted O.K. coming off stage lots o weirdness about it all,
