After all of the drama between Mario and Lucy over the past few weeks, tonight’s episode was mainly focused on their relationship – and the debate of whether they would break up or stay together?

After last week’s argument with a Sugar Hut honey, Lucy was starting to feel a little bit unsure of her relationship with Mario. There were many hints of them having trust issues, making us worry about whether or not they would stick together.

Like any other best friend, Lydia didn’t like seeing Lucy so upset so she felt she had to help in some way. She called Mario and explained how upset Lucy was, and he admitted that he had done a bad thing by messaging other girls.

After such a tense phone conversation, Lucy and Mario agreed to meet to talk about everything. Mario suggested that his friends do not think he has done anything wrong and that the bad thing of the whole situation was that he had kept it from her. He also said how Lydia shouldn’t have got involved, even stating that he “can’t stand her”. Doesn’t he know that girls stick by their best friends no matter what? Therefore, Lucy retaliated by saying she doesn’t want him to see Mick ever again – as she believes he is a bad influence on Mario.

By the end of the episode Lucy and Mario managed to start resolving their issues. They agreed to no longer be “engaged” and go back to being boyfriend and girlfriend. They hope that this will help their relationship and that it will take some pressure off of them. Let’s hope they continue getting along alright, without any more hiccups.

In other news, Arg bagged himself a blind date thanks to Mr Joey Essex. After a casual visit from Gemma – in which he finally got his Play station back! – Arg got himself suited and booted for his big date. He was met by the beautiful Jasmine, who is friends with Joey, at a local pub. They did have a few things in common and seemed to have a good chat but once they had said their goodbyes it was clear there was not much of a spark between the two of them. Poor Arg, when will he catch a break?

Kirk has also been experiencing a bit of heartbreak recently, since his comeback to Essex. This led to him having a healing session. This helped him to release some bad energy and start to feel a lot more positive about his life. It will be onwards and upwards for Kirk from now on!

The best news of the episode had to be Ricky’s proposal to Jess. Jess certainly started to panic as Ricky got down on one knee and pulled out a little box, but it wasn’t a diamond ring inside, instead Ricky revealed a key to his flat for Jess. This is a great step in their relationship and has made them feel a lot more positive about the future. Let’s hope, like Mario and Lucy, they continue to stay together!
