WENNPretty much everyone has come out to defend the X Factor since last weekend's drama. Now, joining the likes of Olly Murs and Caroline Flack is Kye Sones who insists that his mentor Gary Barlow, who walked off set on Sunday night, is simply "passionate" about his job.
Kye saw his fellow Overs hopeful Carolynne Poole leave the competition in a haze of controversy last weekend but it doesn't seem to have fazed the laid back chimney sweep who had Entertianmentwise's Georgie laughing when she met him for a chat this week.
We asked Kye what advice pop legend Gary had passed on, and it sounds like the Take That star is all about the personal hygiene:
"You know, brush your teeth, wash under your arms. He helps with everything, and it's not just about the singing and the perfomance, it's everything from the clothes..."
When we asked what Kye's reaction was to his "legend" of a mentor walking off set, Kye simply insisted "it just shows how passionate he is about everyone. It's not just a weekend job for him. He cares about everyone in the category."
Take a look at our full chat with Kye above and tune into the X Factor tomorrow night to see more from Kye and Gary!
