The Kardashian family just keeps on growing as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have welcomed a new arrival into the family.

Taking to Twitter to introduce her new "baby", the reality TV beauty tweeted: "My new baby Mercy #TeacupPersian", with a picture of the adorable feline striking poses.

She learnt from Kimmy quick!

Having been named after Kanye's first single from his new album, it looked as though Kim couldn't bear to be away from her new pet as she was pictured carrying Mercy into her Dash Store in Miami.

Whilst Kim might have time for a pet kitten now, the star revealed on her family's show Keeping Up With The Kardashians that she wasn't ready for children and was therefore having her eggs frozen.

Happy with her decision, Kim revealed on the season finale of Keeping Up With The Kardashians:

"I'm glad I'm freezing my eggs. I want to be prepared when the time is right."
