Warwick cancels concert in wake of Houston's death

Heartbroken singing legend Dionne Warwick has cancelled a Valentine's Day concert in the wake of her cousin Whitney Houston's death.

Warwick was scheduled to perform at The Palace Theater in Pennsylvania on Tuesday night but she has now postponed the show while she mourns Houston, who died on Saturday.

Following news of the death, the I Will Always Love You hitmaker's family released a statement, reading, "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly. We appreciate the outpouring of love and support from her fans and friends."

The cause of Houston's death is still under investigation.

It doesn't matter how they were related. The only thing that matters is that they were (related) and were a close faimly. Leave them be to grieve in their own way and in their own time.

Clarissa Bailey, it is common knowledge that Dionne Warwick was Whitney Houston's cousin and as such she is mourning a family member, have a little respect. Dionne Warwick does not need to pull publicity stunts.
