BBC PicturesAs she prepares to dance like she's never danced before on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend, Olympic champion Victoria Pendleton has revealed that some cycling coaches, in particular Scott Sutton, are "glad" with her decision to retire from the sport.
The athlete, whose romance with sports scientist Scott Gardener raised a few eyebrows amongst the cycling unit after the Beijing Olympics in 2008, revealed to The Sun:
"They are glad to be rid of me to be perfectly honest because of the difficulty I caused them with the Scott situation.
“A few people have made my life very difficult. Shane Sutton for one can be quite difficult.”

With the London 2012 Olympics over, the sportstar now has something new to focus on. Revealing that she's excited about hitting the dancefloor when the show kicks off tomorrow night, Victoria said:
"I have no dance experience but wanted to do something completely different and Strictly was such a great opportunity for me. I am so excited to get out there because there is no expectation. Performing with no expectation is very different from performing with high, high expectations.
“That said, I am competitive and will try as hard as I can on Strictly. I would like a partner who is a taskmaster.”
We can't wait to see Victoria and the rest of this year's line-up hitting the dancefloor tomorrow night.
