TV Round Up: From The Return Of Strictly And Downton To Bieber On Jonathan Ross!

It's been a huge week for telly fans as some of our favourite shows have made their return to our screens (welcome back Strictly and Downton Abbey!) whilst others have welcomed A list guests (Justin Bieber on Jonathan Ross SCREAM!). Here's your round-up of the best of the box....

Our telly marathon started on Wednesday night (September 12) with the return of X Factor USA.

OK so us UK viewers couldn't actually watch Simon welcome new judges Demi Lovato and Britney Spears to the panel but they didn't stop us lapping up all the gossip from across the pond including the news that Khloe Kardashian is a front runner for the hosting job once the show hits the live stages.

Whilst we might be looking forward to seeing the show once it hits ITV2 later this month, US viewers seemed less than impressed with the season premiere, as ratings were shockingly low for such a hyped show.

Meanwhile back on this side of the Atlantic, the X Factor auditions are drawing to a close with the final set to be screened tonight (September 16). Then it's over to boot camp before Judges Houses where a familiar face is going to be giving Gary Barlow a hand!

Another familiar face turned up at last nights (September 15) auditions as IT girl Bianca Gascoigne had her turn in front of the judges. Find out how she got on here...

Away from X Factor, it was all about Bieber Fever on last night's Jonathan Ross show. The teen sensation sat down on the couch for a good chat, even revealing that he's been offered the lead in 'Fifty Shades of Grey'!

Last night also saw the return of 'Strictly Come Dancing' which pulled out all the glitz and glamour as celeb contestants were matched to their pro partners. We can't wait to see Kimberley Walsh, Victoria Pendleton and the super hot Louis Smith don their leotards!

Doctor Who was back for it's third episode in the current series which featured a brand new enemy for Matt Smith's Doctor. The gripping episode titled ‘A Town called Mercy’ saw a relentless cyborg named Gunslinger “terminating” his enemies as he searched for the ‘alien’ Doctor. Missed it? Check out our catch-up here.

FINALLY there's still one huge telly event to look forward to tonight as 'Downton Abbey' makes it's much anticipated return to ITV1. With the legendary Shirley McLaine making her debut in tonight's episode plus the wedding of Lady Mary and Matthew Crawley to look forward to we can hardly contain our excitement!
