TV Critics Choice Awards: Homeland Scoops Best Drama Series

The TV Critics Choice Awards took place last night in Los Angeles and TV favourite Homeland was amongst the top winners of the evening, scooping both Best Drama Series and Best Actress in a Drama Series for Claire Danes’ portrayal of bipolar former CIA agent Carrie Mathison.

As we previously reported, the popular series will return later this year on Channel 4 in the UK.

It was a good night for the Brits with  BBC’s Sherlock wining Best Movie/Miniseries, which proved a hit with US critics recently and Benedict Cumberbatch taking the crown for Best Actor in a Movie/Miniseries.

Best Reality Series – Competition went to the US version of The Voice which stars Christina Aguilera and Adam Levine, and Best Animated series went to Archer, created by Adam Reed.
