WENNTulisa Contostavlos has admitted that 2012 hasn't been her finest year, and she's hoping for an "enlightening" 2013.
The star found herself at the centre of a cruel and unwanted scandal at the beginning of the year when her ex-boyfriend allegedly leaked footage of the pair of them engaging in a sexual act a number of years ago.
After a brief positive period in which her debut single 'Young' shot to No1 and she was voted the Sexiest Woman In The World by FHM readers, she then suffered a number of career mishaps including two underperforming singles and album, The Female Boss, that limped to No35 in a competitive chart period.
Appearing on This Morning today, she said: "2013, I've been calling it my year of enlightenment. It just hasn't been a happy year for me, so next year is my happy year."
Speaking of her solo projects away from N-Dubz bandmates Dappy and Fazer, she said: "It's scary, the whole process is scary. And being so used to having the boys with me either side, and what direction I was going to take it in as well, but luckily it just kind of came natural when I was in the studio."
On a possible reunion for the urban trio, she revealed: "I'd love to, we've had loads of talks. I think we just all need to sit down as a three and have a little meeting and go, 'If we're going to do it, then let's put a date on it'."
