Tulisa Contostavlos only has nice things to say about her X Factor colleague Nicole Scherzinger, calling her "lovely"... but with a "beast inside"!

Tulisa is mentoring the Girls category on this year's series, whilst Nicole is in charge of the Boys. The former Pussycat Doll was drafted in to replace Kelly Rowland after it was revealed she would not be returning.

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, Tulisa said: "Nicole is lovely. There will be no fights between us. We’re complete opposites and she brings out the more sensitive side in me.

"There is a beast inside Nicole, though, if you push her. She would bite your f**king head off. That girl has got so much fire, but – unlike me – she keeps it reserved, whereas I wear my fire on the outside!"

Tulisa's full interview appears in the November issue of Cosmopolitan, on sale October 11

The star also said that, if the best contestant does not end up being one of her own, she is happy to admit defeat.

She explained: "I know that everyone will assume I want to win again this year – especially after the year I’ve had – but I’m not bothered. It’s not about me, it’s about the contestants, and I believe in righteousness.

"I want the right person to win, whether they are in my category or not."

Tulisa's hopefuls Lucy Spraggan, Ella Henderson and Jade Ellis will perform on the show tonight.
