TOWIE's Gemma Collins: 'Normal Girls Make Mistakes' As She Admits She Wore Too Much Blusher On Night Out

Earlier this week, The Only Way Is Essex's Gemma Collins caught a lot of attention...but for all the wrong reasons when she was spotted leaving Joey Essex's birthday party.

The reality TV star appeared to have gone a bit overboard on the blusher as her face resembled a very red tomato.

Confirming the reports that she had applied a bit too much blusher during the night, Gemma took to Twitter to laugh off her make-up faux pas and state that "normal girls make mistakes."

In a series of Twitter posts last night, the star, who is currently dating her fellow TOWIE star James Argent, wrote:

I think a few to many drinks last night I reached for the blusher thinking it was all over powder #relax normal girls make mistakes xxx lol

Joking that she won't be applying blusher on her face when she's drunk, Gemma added:
