TV star Lisa Riley topped the Strictly Come Dancing leaderboard this weekend, proving she won't be following Ann Widecombe and be known as the 'joke' act within this years competition.
Lisa, who found fame as Mandy Dingle within Emmerdale before hosting You've Been Framed, won 30 points out of the a possible 40 with her professional dance partner Robin Windsor and received praise from all four judges.
Judges Darcey Bussell, Len Goodman, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli gave the actress credit where it was due as Bruno commented: “Just three words darling: You can dance.
“I love you,” he added.
Speaking to TV Biz, Lisa said: “I finally feel like a princess for the first time in my life. Nobody can explain how I feel right now.
“I spend my life playing mingers and all of a sudden I feel like I'm in Dynasty.”
The Emmerdale star also revealed: “The glam squad make you feel like a million dollars and the response I've had has been overwhelming.”

The result was a happy moment for the star, who lost mum Cath in July to breast cancer. Reliving the moment, Lisa said: “My mum was there. She sent me Strictly and she sent me Robin and all this fun.
“She wouldn't want me sat at home crying.”
It seems nobody was more shocked at the show results than the actress herself as she admitted that prior to Saturday's show, she had been worried how people might react to her being larger than other contestants.
“My fears have been conquered. I never though I would get the reaction I did out there,” she said, hoping to inspire more curvy girls out there.
“If I can inspire one woman to get up and dance, then I've done my job.”
