Steve Jones' X Factor USA Replacement Found?

It appears as though we won't be seeing Steve Jones fronting the X Factor USA when it returns later this year amidst reports that his replacement has been found.

According to the Mirror, axed Daybreak host Christine Bleakley has been head hunted by Simon Cowell and is now considering making the move stateside for the show.

Of the rumoured plan to get Christine to host the show, which crowned Melanie Amaro as it's first winner, a source revealed: "She gets on very well with Simon and he’s always maintained at some point they will work ­together. After Dancing On Ice is done and dusted by the spring, there’s nothing keeping her in the UK if she wanted to move abroad.

“The Americans love an Irish presenter and Christine has potential to work very well in the US.”

Steve's possible sacking from the X Factor USA comes after reports suggested that the Welsh presenter failed to impress the show's bosses and the American audience.
