Actress Sofia Vergara had an extra special reason to celebrate turning 40 on Tuesday - her boyfriend Nick Loeb proposed to the beauty on the eve of her birthday, according to a report.
The Modern Family star jetted off to Mexico with friends and family last week to mark the age milestone, but it appears the party turned into a double celebration - a source tells MSN's Wonderwall blog that the couple became engaged on Monday.
The birthday girl was snapped wearing a large, dazzling diamond on her left ring finger as she posed for photos with her pals.
A representative for the Colombian stunner has yet to comment on the claims.
Vergara and Loeb, who began dating in 2010, recently reunited after a brief split in May.
If the reports are true, it will be Vergara's second marriage - she wed Joe Gonzalez, the father of her 20-year-old son Manolo, at the age of 18, but they divorced two years later.
