'Smitten' James Franco 'Wants To Date' Kristen Stewart

Looks like Kristen Stewart has got a new admirer as James Franco is said to be “smitten” with the 'Twilight' actress after meeting her at the Toronto Film Festival over the weekend and is desperate to take her out on a date.

While we aren't sure of her relationship status following her illicit fling with Rupert Sanders earlier this summer, if things are over with boyfriend of three years Robert Pattinson looks like the '127 Hours' actor is ready to step into his shoes.

“Kristen and James bumped into each other at the Intercontinental Hotel in Toronto during the film festival and were engaged in conversation for 20 minutes,” a source told RadarOnline.

The couple reportedly got on well, with the 22 year-old beauty enjoying the attention from Franco, the source claimed.

“There was a lot of flirting and Kristen was overjoyed by the attention she was getting from James, who was gushing over her, saying what a great actress he thinks she is and was full of praise for her latest movie, 'On the Road',” an eyewitness revealed.

“She seemed at ease in his company, and he was certainly making her laugh. She was wearing a huge grin on her face.”

Kristen hasn't had much to smile about over the last few weeks after the fling was revealed, with some saying her career could be over. But by the reception of fans at the Toronto Film Festival she has nothing to worry about, as most of those who turned out throwing their support behind the actress.

While the 'Snow White and The Huntsman' star appeared to enjoy the attention she turned down an offer of a date from Franco, according to witnesses, they claimed: "At the end of their chance meeting, James took Kristen’s number and asked her out for dinner.

“Kristen initially said no, but is mulling over the idea. She knows she has to move on now following her break up with Rob.”

But doesn't look like Franco, who has previously dated Lindsay Lohan will take no for an answer.

“James definitely wants to see Kristen again, and there’s nothing better for a heartbroken girl than to be admired by a handsome man,” the source added.

Well if Kristen and Rob don't work things out doesn't look like she'll be single for long!
