Matthew Broderick may star in what is tipped to be this year’s favourite Super Bowl ad but his wife says she had no interest in watching the game.
'Sex and the City' star Sarah Jessica Parker said she was going to skip the Super Bowl despite the hype surrounding her husband’s Ferris Bueller-themed ad for the 2012 Honda CR-V.
"I can tell you honesty, I will not be watching the football game. I have absolutely no interest,” she told USA Today from the set of her new movie ‘Lovelace’.
"How long does (the game) last? Up to four hours? Really?
"If I had four hours of leisure time, I would watch the first episode of ‘Luck’ and start the first season of ‘Mad Men’ or ‘Downton Abbey’. You get my point."
Parker, who has two-year-old twin girls Marion and Tabitha and nine-year-old boy James with Broderick, said she enjoyed her husband’s ads even though she couldn’t care less about the game.
The 46-year-old said she has already seen and liked all the versions of the Honda ads starring her husband of 14 years.
"The longer one is the better one," she says of the extended online version. "Because they really are able to dial it up."
