Russell Brand has said he has permission from MTV Movie Awards producers to do whatever he wants as host... but he might get told off afterwards.
The British comedian and actor will MC tonight's event at the Gibson Ampitheatre.
Speaking to MTV News, he claimed: "[The producers] just go, 'Do whatever you want!' And then one hour later they'll say, 'You shouldn't have done that.'... It's a weird technique."
The star had initially said of his appointment: "MTV Movie Awards incorporates two of my favorite things: movies and awards. If somehow group sex could be involved it would be the greatest night of my life."
We can't see that happening...
Speaking of Russell and movies, the star has allegedly asked ex-wife Katy Perry to edit any mention of him out of her upcoming documentary movie, Part Of Me.
Katy is expected to mention their short marriage in an effort to show her fans that world is not "perfect".
Legally, it is thought Russell won't have a leg to stand on if he challenges her... because he gave his consent to appear before they separated.
