The actor admitted his feelings during an interview to promote ‘The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2’.
A fan of the movie franchise had the chance to ask Rob, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner personal questions and he answered rater honestly.
Jodie-Lee, who won a contest with Hoyts, said: “Did you feel that you shared any personality traits to the character of Edward [when you auditioned for Twilight]?”
The star replied: “I’ve always been quite lacking in confidence. But I started to relate and feeling like it’s a dangerous thing to do to fall in love with someone.”
The 26-year-old has had a rough year after his 22-year-old girlfriend and co-star Kristen cheated on him with Rupert Sanders.
But the pair recently spent Thanksgiving on Thursday with the his family in London.
