Robert Pattinson Brags About Bedding Uma Thurman, Christina Ricci

Robert Pattinson has bragged about how he was lucky enough to bed a string of attractive women for his bad boy role in ‘Bel Ami'.

The 25-year-old actor shakes off his innocent 'Twilight' image to play a young man who seduces wealthy women in order to rise from poverty to fame in Paris.

“There are lots of attractive women in the film…Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Kristen Scott Thomas...And I sleep with all of them,” the actor gloated to Scottish newspaper The Herald.

Pattinson joked that his ‘Twilight’ character vampire Edward Cullen “so wouldn’t approve” of his new role as a womaniser.

"My 'Bel Ami' guy doesn't have a conscience," he said. "Most fictional characters are driven by some target, but he is like a reverse character. He's so content to do nothing and thinks everything should just be given to him. But if someone slights him, or directs any insult at him, the most overwhelming energy grabs him and he turns into this absolute devil who will do anything."

The actor, who is said to be dating 'Twlight' co-star Kristen Stewart, also slammed suggestions that he chose the role in order to stamp out his image as a friendly vampire.

“I don't think about doing things just because they are different from ‘Twilight’, no. Honestly, ‘Bel Ami’ was just such an intriguing film," he said.

However the star confessed he enjoyed playing a different role. “… I guess there is something quite fun about going from Edward Cullen to playing a guy who pretty much abuses women to get money out of them.”
