Robbie Williams Admits He's 'Jealous' Of One Direction

Robbie Williams may be on top of the world following the birth of his baby daughter but he has confessed that he is jealous of One Direction.

The singer, who is set to make his solo comeback next month, denied reports that he dislikes the boyband, but said he wish he could travel the world with them.

''I'm jealous of them and I wish I was doing it all with them," Williams told BBC Newsbeat. "I've met all the boys, but it was a long time ago.

"I am quoted as saying, 'Robbie Williams slammed One Direction. Robbie Williams had a go at One Direction'. I really didn't - I love the boys."

He added: "I'm looking forward to seeing where the road takes them for many years to come I hope. They do perform like they've never met each other and there's a certain charm to that too. It's brilliant."

Robbie Williams was seen shooting the new music video for his new single 'Candy' in London last month and now the singer has finally unveiled it to fans.

The single is the first to be taken from the singer's forthcoming new album Take The Crown. The video features Williams getting run over by cars, set on fire whilst chasing after Skins actress Kaya Scodelario.

'Candy' will be released on October 29, followed by his ninth studio album Take The Crown on November 5.
