POLL: Who Was The Best Live Act On X Factor?

    WennWenn

So last night we saw the X Factor finalists perform live for the first time - but who was the best? Were you loving James Arthur, impressed by Ella Henderson or just plain confused by Rylan Clark?

After weeks of terrible auditions, surprise celeb cameos and heated arguments between the judges, we've finally arrived at the X factor live shows. So now we can see, err, more terrible performances, surprise celeb cameos (anyone else puzzled by One Direction's 5 minute appearance?) and bitching between judges...

We were thoroughly impressed by some of the acts last night, while other performances left much to be desired. Newly named District3 kicked off the show with a sickeningly sweet R'n'B version of 'Simply The Best' - which we thought was simply the worst. We found the false American accents adopted by the boys so irritating that it was already time to go and make a cuppa.

Later on, we were glued to the TV as James Arthur powered through a heartfelt rendition of Kelly Clarkson's 'Stronger'. Nicole rightly called him unique and special artist, but weren't so sure about the rapping!

We were blown away by 16 year old Ella Henderson's performance of Take That hit 'Rule The World' - we can't believe how young she is! She looked lovely in an embellished cream dress, topping off the look with her signature cow lick hairstyle.

Rylan Clark treated us to a rendition of Spandau Ballet’s ‘Gold’ more camp than we thought possible, tearing up the stage in a whirlwind of glitter and gold. While he proved that he's definitely the entertainer of the competition in his green eyeliner and gold chainmetal vest, we thought his voice was patchy at best. He tweeted about what was clearly most important to him yesterday morning:

"Nails, hair, eyebrows, body, tan, outfit, Chanel..... Eye......... X" Errrrm, right...

The final act was Jahmene Douglas, who stole the show with John Lennon's iconic song 'Imagine'. The stage looked beautiful covered in flickering candles, while Jahmene wowed the crowds with outstanding vocals. Nicole then decided to tell us he's "found his balls", but that's another story...

So much talent, but who was your favourite? Vote in our poll now!
