Scott Disick has definitely not been the people's favourite recently after he suggested that other half Kourtney Kardashian should lose a few pounds, but he's also caused quite a stir after he set out to hunt an alligator and PETA have been quick to hit back at the reality star's recent actions.
Scott may be quickly becoming the TV star that viewers love to hate and the hunk gave people even more of a reason to shake their heads after he set out to hunt an alligator so that he could expand his shoe collection on the families' reality TV show Kim & Kourtney Take Miami.
When Scott ran into former Bachelor contestant Vienna Girardi on the recent episode of KKTM, she informed him about her parents’ alligator farm — and then Scott decided he wanted to shoot one and “make it my shoe.”
Scott then took a trip to Vienna’s family farm where he went on a night ride in the swamps to find the perfect gator— one that he soon found, shot with a pistol and then helped to skin as the animal squirmed around on the table.
Now, the People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) group is opening up about the reality star’s controversial actions.
"It takes a small man to kill an animal for fun,” a representative for PETA tells In Touch of Scott’s hunting expedition.

“Although exotic animals are mostly unfamiliar to many people, the pain that they endure is real.”
PETA continues to tell In Touch that “animals deserve better from us,” and that children, including Scott and Kourtney’s son, Mason, 3, and daughter Penelope, 8 months, deserve “more compassionate, thoughtful role models.”
“Kind people understand that these intelligent, interesting animals — who fiercely protect their eggs and babies until their hatchlings are 3 years old — deserve to live with their families, rather than being hunted down in their homes and killed for a cheap human thrill,” PETA tells the mag.
