MTV The Valley's cast have hit back at Charlotte Church after she admitted she thought the show will be a terrible representation of Wales.
The Welsh singer was asked on Twitter as to whether she would be watching the Cardiff based reality tv show to which answered with a definitive no.
She tweeted: "No I won't be watching as I think it will be exploitative and a horrific representation of the country that I love."
Talking exclusively to omg! The Valley's cast was quick to defend themselves against Charlotte's comment.
Carley told us at the launch: "I think she's forgetting that we've seen her quite a few times running through clubs without her shoes on. Pot-kettle-black springs to mind."
Agreeing with Carely, Liam pointed out that the welsh songstress has had her fair share of negative press in the past regarding her drunken antics.
He explained: "I think she jumped the gun a bit criticizing us and slagging us off, she's been young once, she's been in the limelight for the wrong reasons."
"Hopefully she'll watch the show and think 'they're not that bad, I've done worse'."
Adding fuel to the fire, Jenna then added: "TEAM GAVIN, he's fit."
We're not sure that's going to help convert Charlotte Jenna!
On face value, The Valley's could very easily be dubbed as the welsh Geordie Shore, however, the cast were adamant that they are nothing alike.
Nicole was quick to point out the show wouldn't be focused on bedroom antics and more about the group fulfilling their career aspirations.
She told us: "It's not about sex; it's more about our jobs than sex. Geordie Shore loves sex. Yeah there is obviously sex, but we are focused on the jobs."
Hmmm, so far we're not convinced.
Mentor Jordon then interjected, explaining that sex would be inevitable but the overall theme of the show was building careers for the group.
He explained: "I think if you mix this amount of alcohol with girls who like to get their tits and arse out sex is a natural thing that will obviously happen"
"But the main crux of the show is watching them achieve their dreams and me and AK are very tough bosses."
The Valleys starts on 25 September at 10pm on MTV
