Mischa Barton sure knows how to grab headlines.

The OC starlet had tongues waging when she was spotted in Dublin on Wednesday night making her way to an after party at a bar, wearing a sparkling new bauble on her ring finger.

Is the actress getting ready to walk down the aisle any time soon? Well, not quite.

While the 26-year-old is does have an engagement ring on her hand, Barton and her beau Sebastian Knapp – the couple have been together since meeting each other’s acquaintances at Revenge’s Ashley Madekwe’s summer wedding – aren’t going to be making it official anytime soon.

"Mischa was wearing the ring as wardrobe for the opening night of her play,” a rep for the The Sixth Sense actress tells E! News.

Barton is currently on stage for her role as Shelby Eatenton in Steel Magnolias, which is the Broadway show-turned-film that is running in the capital of Ireland until the end of September.

The actress is getting rave reviews for her role – made famous by the one and only Julia Roberts – and seems to be enjoying her portrayal since the actress is wearing Shelby's props after leaving the stage.
