Michelle Keegan, who is currently been involved in a controversial pregnancy storyline in ITV soap Coronation Street, has admitted that she'd love to act as a surrogate mother - despite it being a "taboo subject".
The pretty brunette actress, who ended her relationship with The Wanted's Max George earlier this year, explained on This Morning that she thinks surrogate mothers are "amazing" - but she admitted it was a difficult concept to get her head round at first:
"I met a lady called Jo who was amazing, and I think no-one really talks about surrogacy, it's a bit of a taboo subject, and she basically said 'I've had my own children and I wanted to help other people have children'."
"And I couldn't get my head around it at first but when she told me the stories of how she did it and how she got to know the families as well, it's just amazing, it's an amazing gift."
And the big-hearted beauty also confessed that she would "100%" act as a surrogate mother herself if the need ever arose:
"I would never rule it out now, ever."
"If someone really needed my help I would never rule that out... or if I needed [a surrogate], yeah, one hundred per cent."
