    Melua 'engaged' to superbike champion

    Katie Melua is set to wed her champion motorcycle racer boyfriend, according to a report.

    The Closest Thing to Crazy hitmaker went public with superbike star James Toseland last July at a photography exhibition in London.

    Toseland proposed to the singer before Christmas, according to the The Sun, and she was spotted sporting a ring on her wedding finger at Hamburg airport in Germany earlier this week.

    Melua previously dated The Kooks frontman Luke Pritchard, who she split from in 2005.

      Devastating news - I was hoping to marry her myself one day!!!! Lol. What a lucky guy he is. She is stunningly beautiful and seems to be such a lovely, genuine person with it. Good luck to them (he says through gritted teeth!!).
