Matthew Wolfenden Beats Jorgie Porter For DOI Immunity

Matthew Wolfenden Beats Jorgie Porter For DOI Immunity

The competition between Matthew Wolfenden and Jorgie Porter reached fever pitch last week when they both scored 21.5 on the Dancing On Ice scoreboard. However this week saw Matthew move ahead after winning immunity over Jorgie in the dual tonight.

With both Matt and Jorgie perform to Madonna and Justin Timberlake’s ‘4 Minutes’, all was to dance for before the judges were asked for their verdict.

Complimenting both Matt and Jorgie on their performances, eccentric judge Louie Spence said: “You were both phenomenal out there. Jorgie, the way you move on the ice is fabulous.”

Katarina Witt agreed, saying: “You were both incredible”, before telling Matt: “You managed complex choreography...It was very strong.”

Finishing off the judges verdicts, Robin Cousins said to Matthew: “You skate like a skater. You act like a skater.” Turning to Jorgie, Robin added: “It was hot and sassy.”

Despite being impressed by both Matthew and Jorgie, Louie and Robin’s decision to choose Matthew meant that he was given immunity from the skate-off.

What do you think of the results?

The last time I picked up a dictionary, 'duel', in the sense in which it is intended to be used here, is spelled with an 'e' not an 'a'! 'Dual' means 'composed of two usually like or complementary parts'; the so-called journalist responsible for this tripe mistakenly used that word in place of 'duel' which means 'a prearranged, formal combat between two persons'. How can anyone pass themselves off as a wordsmith and not know the difference?! I despair, I honestly do!
