Those cheeky Little Mix ladies have just got us all excited, revealing that they wouldn't say no to teaming up with One Direction on a future track!
The two bands have a lot of shared history having both been formed on the X Factor and going on to achieve chart success. Then there's that connection between Little Mix's Perrie Edwards and 1D's Zayn Malik who have been loved up for much of 2012.
In a new intervew Perrie and her bandmates chat about how the boys have helped them in their blossoming career:
"When One Direction came on the show, they helped us out with a bit of advice. It was really nice to get support from bands that had been there and done it", Jade told J-14 magazine.
"It's nice to see One Direction so humble. Those boys are just so down to earth, so normal, and they work really hard for what they've achieved. So, we've definitely learned a lot from them."
When the magazine asked if there was any chance of a 1D/Little Mix collaboration, Jade was quick to reply, saying: "I think we've got two different sounds, haven't we? But we could do a mash-up of something, that'd be quite cool."
OK so not exactly confirmation but they haven't said no!
Any future collab will have to wait until Perrie recovers from a nasty bout of tonsillitis though. The star announced earlier this month that she wouldn't be able to perform with her Little Mix girls until next year.
Following hospital visits Perrie is now back home in bed, telling her followers this week that she's been busy relaxing: “Still in bed in my AMAZING customised one-piece by @OnesieNation it’s the best thing ever! It’s making me even more LAZY. oh dear! Perrie <3″
Meanwhile, Perrie's loyal man Zayn has apparently been at his girlfriend's bedside throughout her ordeal with insiders telling Unreality TV that the One Direction star has been "helping keep her spirits up as she recovers.Kristen Stewart 'Returns To LA To Spend Christmas With Robert Pattinson'
