PRThree days ahead of schedule, Girls Aloud's big comeback single 'Something New' has emerged online. Woohoo!
The track, produced by Xenomania - who helmed all-bar-one of their previous singles - lives up to the girlband's usual style of shunning the usual verse-chorus-verse-chorus structure, favouring two completely different verses and a number of different choruses.
The video for the song is expected to be released on Friday (November 19), following a teaser released earlier today.
Whilst Nadine Coyle has said that she doesn't want the band to ever split, Cheryl Cole has said in her autobiography that the band's upcoming Greatest Hits collection will be the last thing they do together.
Kimberley Walsh is competing in Strictly Come Dancing around the band's commitments, and Sarah Harding is working on a solo album. Nicola Roberts completes the line-up.
'Something New', which falls somewhere between the girls' Chemistry and Tangled Up albums in terms of its sound, is rumoured to be performed on Strictly at some point next month.
Listen to 'Something New' below, and catch up with what the girls have been up to since 'splitting' here.
