Lil Wayne: 'Republicans Are Never Going To Like Black People'

Lil Wayne has caused controversy by claiming that Republicans are "never going to like black people."

The '6 Foot 7 Foot' rapper decided to turn his mind to politics in an interview with Vibe magazine, and discussed Barack Obama's performance in office. When asked whether Barack is "respected" by the nation, Weezy replied: "I don't think I have to say that for everybody to know that."

He then proceeded to put the Republicans on blast, claiming that they will never accept black people - especially a black man ruling the country. "You learn from what the right-wing is doing and you take something from it," he said.

"I feel like as a people the most we can do is better ourselves and learn. Then look at yourself and ask, 'Am I the person they're talking about or am I not?' You have to make the most of who you are because the Republicans are never going to like us."

Weezy's comments resemble Kanye West's outburst a few years ago when he stated - on live TV - that former President George Bush "doesn't like black people."

Was Weezy's comments out of pocket? Do you agree?
