Labrinth has never hidden his desire to work with Rihanna - but has made it clear he "won't be begging" for a collaboration with the star.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the 'Earthquake' singer revealed he has penned a few songs for the Bajan beauty, and while he's not sure whether the star will jump on board, he's not worried either.

"I've got records here for her. It just depends if she wants to record on them." the singer told the newspaper.

"If she does then we'll have a collaboration with her, if not then that's that."

The 'Let The Sun Shine' singer added: "It's not even a case of fingers crossed. I like Rihanna, she's a great artist, but I'm not begging for anyone - I don't need it."

With an attitude like that, you might be waiting a while for that hook-up, Labrinth.
