Kristen Stewart 'Confirms' She Is Still With Robert Pattinson? 'We're Totally Fine'

When Kristen Stewart was pictured kissing married director Rupert Sanders in July behind the back of boyfriend Robert Pattinson, we thought one of Hollywood’s hottest romances was over. But addressing the scandal for the first time the actress implied they are still very much an item, saying they are “totally fine”.

Speaking at the Toronto Film Festival where she is promoting new movie ‘On The Road’ the 22 year-old told the Associated Press during an interview that the ‘Twilight’ lovers were not worried about promoting the final instalment of the vampire saga when it is released in November.

“We’re going to be fine. We’re totally fine,” she replied when asked about some potentially “awkward public appearances”.

It is not known whether the couple, who have been together three years, are still together but, this latest comment from Kristen appears to imply they are.

The premiere of the Jack Kerouac adaptation was the brunette’s first public appearance since the scandal, with Kristen admitting she had been nervous and had to convince herself not to back out.

She said: “I was a little nervous, obviously. I’m always nervous before a red carpet

“To be honest, I was just kind of telling myself, like, just don’t back out. Be there, don’t just figuratively put your head down and barrel through it. Be there, appreciate it.”

She added: “Luckily, very, very much I was able to do that.”

Rob managed to avoid any questions on the status of his relationship when he was promoting his movie ‘Cosmopolis’ last month insisting that he didn’t want to profit from details in his private life.

The couple made their last public appearance together at the Teen Choice Awards (July 22) just two days before Us Weekly published photographs of Kristen and Rupert Sanders locked in an embrace.

Soon after removal vans were seen at the couple’s Los Angeles home promoting speculation that they had split.
