Kris Humphries’ attorney deserves an “A” for effort in creating an innovative plan of attack in serving Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Kanye West.
In attempt to serve the hip-hop star a subpoena, it was placed inside a Nordstroms box and delivered to Kim Kardashian’s home in Beverly Hills, according to TMZ.
Kardashian’s lawyer, Laura Wasser, told the judge in the divorce case about their sneak attack during a hearing on Wednesday.
Wasser complained to the judge that her multi-million dollar client has totaled up $250,000 in attorney’s fees and it’s still uncertain what Humphries wants out of the divorce.
The divorce attorney also stated that she’s heard the reports that New Jersey Nets star seeks to put the trial on TV – and there’s sufficient evidence to support Wasser's claim.
Wasser pointed out that Humphries has served Kardashian matriarch Kris Jenner with a subpoena and NBC Universal and Bunim/Murray, which produce Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Wasser stated she’s perplexed why Humphries thinks their marriage was a fraud, because “he went in eyes wide open.”
Marshall Waller, Humpries’ lawyer, announced in court he wants to prove the marriage was in fact a fraud, which Kardashian single-handedly wanted to benefit from her reality show.
Waller stated he wants to equipped with information about the show before taking Kardashian’s deposition.
Wasser followed Waller by asking what the importance is for Humphries to get an annulment, but Waller stayed mum.
Wasser then said she plans on getting Humphries to pay every penny of Kardashian’s fees.
