WENNKate Middleton is one of the reasons behind Alexander McQueen’s recent sales boost of a whopping 27 per cent.
The Duchess of Cambridge has been credited with the increase in popularity of sales, and it’s not the first time that Kate’s given a label a boost – with Reiss, Alice Temperley, Whistles and Jenny Packham all feeling the love.

A new report shows that the brand has managed to take a profit of £5 million with sales of £41 million over the last year from shops in the UK, Italy and US alone.
Since marrying Prince William in a Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen wedding gown in a ceremony that was watched by over a billion people last year, the Duchess has been pictured wearing a number of McQueen items for high-profile events.
Of her involvement in Kate’s highly-praised wedding gown, Burton said that it was “'an incredible experience for my team and I, as we have worked closely with Catherine to create this dress under conditions of the strictest secrecy.”
She also added that she was “delighted that the dress represents the best of British craftsmanship. Alexander McQueen's designs are all about bringing contrasts together to create startling and beautiful clothes and I hope that by marrying traditional fabrics and lacework, with a modern structure and design, we have created a beautiful dress for Catherine on her wedding day.”
Kate’s McQueen endorsement didn’t stop there, as she was also seen wearing a gorgeous scarlet ensemble for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee pageant, and also the white skirt suit that she wore on the tour with Prince William.
