
Jessica Simpson should be looking forward to thearrival of her first child but it has been revealed that she is secretly terrified of being alone when she gives birth.
The heavily pregnant star is thought to be giving birth in April via caesarean section and fears that if the baby comes early her fiancé Eric Johnson will not be there.
A source revealed to OK! Magazine: “Jessica really fears she will be going into labour and be all alone.”
“It's a really hard time for her because here she is in her last trimester, and she's always imagined that having a baby would be the happiest day of her life. But now she worries." They added.
Jessica began dating the NFL player in May 2010 with the couple becoming engaged in November of the same year. The singer announced that she was pregnant in October last year and as the due date gets closer her family are struggling to cope with her fears of the birth.
The source revealed: “Calming Jess down is very difficult right now because she's understandably scared and in pain. Everyone is pulling for her and looking forward to when she calms down after the birth."
Despite her fears for the birth there is one aspect of pregnancy that Jessica has been enjoying - she has been filling up on sweet treats as part of her cravings!
