    Gwyneth Paltrow: 'I Cry All the Time'

    This Oscar-winner doesn’t need a script to start her waterworks.

    Gwyneth Paltrow, 39, may appear to have it all with two beautiful children – Apple, 8, and Moses, 6 – along with a rock star hubby, Chris Martin, 35, but the actress still cries constantly.

    During an interview with her longtime pal and designer Diane von Furstenberg for InStyle’s October issue, Paltrow reveals her reasons to weep and her postpartum depression.

    “You can call my shrink on that one,” The Avengers actress says when DVF asked the reason why she works so hard. “The positive thing that drives me is a curiosity and momentum. The negative is a need to validate myself or feel special.”

    Paltrow also opens up about her postpartum depression, following he birth of her second child.

    “After [Moses] was born I had postpartum depression,” Paltrow explains. “It was a difficult time, and because of that I believe I have an extra empathy for him, and he for me.”

    The sensitive mother-of-two and founder of Goop.com founder goes on to explains her crying spells.

    “I cry all the time,” Paltrow confesses. “I cried half an hour ago. I’m a crybaby. … Maybe out of sadness or uncertainty. Do you feel bad for me now?”
