Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong left fans in panic after he was rushed to hospital earlier this week but after being released the singer has been given the all-clear to perform at tomorrow's MTV VMAs.
The rockers cancelled their planned concert in Bologna, Italy on Sunday night (September 2) after the 40-year-old was “rushed to the hospital ... due to illness" said bassist Mike Dirnt in a video to fans.
Armstrong is said to have remained under doctor's care for a mystery illness for several hours, but was discharged.
A spokesperson for Green Day has confirmed to MTV News that the band will still perform at the awards show tomorrow night in LA.
