Glee's Lea Michele Reveals Plans For Debut Album

She was recently unveiled as the new spokeswoman for L’Oreal Paris, and now Lea Michele has announced that she’s heading into the studio to record her debut album.

The ‘Glee!’ actress - currently dating Corey Monteith - made the surprise announcement on micro-blogging site Twitter last month, and admitted she can’t wait to start laying down some tracks.

“Just had a very exciting music meeting and am proud to announce that im officially on the road to making my first album! I’m so excited!” she tweeted.

“There’s so much to be thankful for right now. Feeling so blessed and thankful. And I couldn’t do it without all of you! Love you guys!”

The actress went into further detail about the album during an interview with Nylon.

“I want to make songs where girls can just roll down the windows of their car or dance around in their rooms in their underwear, like, ‘I hate my ex-boyfriend!’ or ‘I’m so in love!’ because that’s what I want (to hear), power-girl songs,” she said.

 Lea also opened up about her romance with Corey - her co-star in the hit show.

"We were Finn and Rachel before," she said. "I feel like they come first."
