    Gallagher dreams of Oasis' past

Rocker Liam Gallagher is pining for the past - he's admitted he'd love to be back in Oasis.

The singer was left to form a new band, Beady Eye, when his brother Noel walked out on the Wonderwall hitmakers following a backstage bust-up between the pair in Paris, France in 2009.

He's since insisted he has no desire to work with his brother again, and the two have traded blows in a series of interviews - but now Liam Gallagher has confessed he'd love to turn back the clock as Oasis was his "life".

He tells Live magazine, "It takes more than blood to be my brother. I've still got the right hump and now the gloves are off. We're still not talking.

"If people think I'm going to be happy about the Oasis split, then they're wrong. Even though I love Beady Eye, I'd prefer to still be in Oasis, because that was my thing. Oasis was my life."

Liam Gallagher. Immature prat. Rock stars don't grow up, they grow sideways, to borrow a phrase from the philosopher Roger Scruton.

so liam gallagher has dreams about being back in oasis, imo it's a nightmare from my point of view.they were kind of a fake punk band, with a bit of a paul weller dress sense thrown in, and copying the beatles.i suppose if you were caught up in that mid nineties, "brit pop" #$%$ along with those other knobheads blur, it was okay at the time.when you look back now though, they were just very much of a #$%$ era, "new labour", the spice girls, and all the other dross.the stone roses, they were not.

What Noel means is he remembers the days when what he said mattered and people actually cared.

Ha ha, niceone, seemingly without meaning to you've backed up your point by confusing Liam with Noel, I think.

To anyone under 30, Liam Gallagher was a rock star. I looked it up

Good music back then but shame they had to let their seriously crappy attitudes get in the way. I know many people hate their music and indeed them, but I still maintain, it was good stuff at the time, still is if you care to listen to it. Still what would Rock and Roll be if it wern't for the bust-ups - Who wants a bunch of old codgers sitting around knitting - GET STUCK IN!

Noel Gallagher was the brains and talent in Oasis, not this total t...w..a...t with his whiney voice and his "swagger" - he needs to go off and live in a gutter before someone comes along and punches him in his Beady Eye!

At the risk of being shot down in flames, I find the words 'brains' 'talent' and 'Oasis' a very incongruous combination.
