Gabrielle Union Launches Twitter Rant After Being Stopped At Airport Over Weave

Gabrielle Union was shocked yesterday when she was stopped by security at an airport because her weave set off the alarm.

The Think Like A Man actress was making her way through a bodyscan at an unspecified airport when the security alarm went off. 

"Ma weave got "flagged" by the bodyscan at security. TSA required a hair patdown. No lie...they coulda just asked if it was the temple hair," she told her Twitter followers.

"If human hair & thread sets off the bodyscanner...a lot of folks jus ended up on the "watch list"...its a weave not terrorism."

When a follower complained that she always gets stopped by a black security guard, Gabrielle replied: "Girl it WAS a black female TSA agent!"

Despite the hassle of being stopped on her journey, Gabrielle saw the funny side of the situation and joked: "Bout to take off...hopefully my weave doesn't cause turbulence...its clearly very powerful :)"
