Frankie Cocozza Claims X Factor Bosses 'Encourage Wild Behaviour' & 'Make Song Choices For Judges'

Frankie Cocozza has claimed that X Factor bosses actively organised nights out for him, and also revealed that Gary Barlow and the other judges are not in charge of song choices.

The wildchild, who was ejected from the show last year after breaking a "golden rule", now appears to have backtracked on the regret he spoke of following his exit and blamed the predicament on producers.

He told the Daily Star: "I just got caned week in, week out. I didn't want to be there but they did everything they could to keep me in.

"Then when I kept getting through each week I think they thought: 'S**t, he could win this and we can't have that', so they f**ked me off in the most horrible way."

He added: "I thought those people were my mates but then I realised I couldn't trust them. I just hope they don't do to anyone else what they did to me. I was the only one allowed out on the show last year.

"They'd tell me I had VIP at a club and would book me a car to take me to the door. Then when I arrived there were paps everywhere! They wouldn't let me do the songs I wanted to do, they wouldn't let me wear what I wanted to, and I was just too much of a pussy to say no.

"Those decisions didn't come from my mentor Gary Barlow, they came from above. The judges don't pick songs and stuff, they'll be told to choose between four. It's ridiculous."

Ouch! Yet more scandal for the show...

Frankie releases his debut EP next month.
