Sir Elton John has admitted that he's happier than ever with his life at the moment following the birth of his son.
The musician and partner David Furnish are proud parents to son Zachary, who was born via a surrogate mother in December 2010.
''I'm the luckiest guy in the world. It's been a joyride? I have a child, which I thought I'd never have. And my life is a constant delight," Elton said in an interview with USA Today.
Elton added that 18-month-old son Zachary is a joy to have around him and is loving family life with his partner of 19 years.
"[Zachary] has brought to David and me the most incredible pleasure, and he's brought us the most incredible sense of responsibility and love," he revealed.
"He comes with us everywhere. He loves travelling. He loves people? He's just a happy-natured boy."
Meanwhile, Sir Elton John has opened up about his alcohol and drug addictions, admitting that he "wasted a big part" of his life on cocaine.
The 65-year-old singer, had a well documented battle with alcohol and cocaine until 1990, and now says he wish he could have become cleaner sooner so that he could have enjoyed his life more.
