She may not have found her Christian or Anastacia yet but 'Fifty Shades of Grey' author has cast one role- she wants to make a cameo in the film adaptation of her hit novel!

E.L. James AKA Erika Leonard, has confessed that she based a small character in the novel on herself and would love to play her onscreen. Talking on US chatshow Katie, James revealed:

"I've actually written myself into the book; I play a very tiny cameo role and I might try and do that if I'm asked to ... we'll see. It'd be interesting to know if people can find me in the books."

The Brit author also revealed that she's whittled her choices for Christian and Anastacia down to seven actors. Since selling the screen rights to her raunchy novel back in March, speculation has been rife about who will take on the kinky leads.

Everyone from Ryan Gosling to Jake Gyllenhaal have been linked to Christian whilst Emma Watson and even cutie pie Selena Gomez have been touted for the female lead.
