When TV favourite Holly Willoughby announced that she was heading over to the BBC to front The Voice, leaving Dancing On Ice behind, we were shocked. However, her This Morning co-presenter Phillip Schofield wasn't.
Explaining that he knew that Holly was leaving Dancing On Ice, which he now presents with former Daybreak presenter, Christine Bleakley, Phillip told us at the National TV Awards last week:
"Holly was busy, so there's no way she could do both. But I knew that was going to happen a long time ago. We discussed it. So that hasn't been a shock."
Asked what it's like to work with Christine every week, the presenter added: "She's lovely, absolutely lovely. Christine has been delightful and such a nice person. We've had a ball. It's lovely, she's extremely excited to do it."
Phillip also found it tough to predict who would skate to victory this year, telling us: "I don't know, I would have put Jorgie and Matthew down, but then you look at Heidi and who would have thought that Chico had a chance!"
