Diplo has revealed the origins of Beyonce's hit single 'Run The World (Girls)'came from a joke.
Beyonce shocked fans last year when she decided to sample Major Lazer's club smash hit 'Pon De Floor,' however, the hit's producer Diplo says it actually started off as a joke.
The Mississippi-born producer has worked on numerous musical gems, including Usher’s latest single 'Climax' and M.I.A’s 'Paper Planes.'
Talking about the hit track he produced for Bey, Diplo candidly said: "I still think a lot of people don’t even realise where that song came from. That song never really had a push. It was a joke song we did. Kind of like a funny joke kind of song."
Diplo also spoke on Beyonce’s single 'End Of Time' and let slip that even the super talented get star struck: "That was superweird man. Like I remember we were in the studio working with her and I still couldn’t believe it."
Churning out hits from a joke, that’s what you call effortless skills.
