Denise Van Outen has signed up to 'Strictly Come Dancing', joining the likes of Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh, Westlife's Nicky Byrne and Olympian Victoria Pendleton to compete for the 2012 Glitterball trophy.
Denise should have a head start on her competitors; she's got a history on the dancefloor starring in West End productions like Legally Blonde. Plus her hubby Lee Mead is a theatre pro, surely he can teach her some moves from 'Joseph And His Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat!'
A source close to the Denise tells Heatworld that there are high hopes for the blonde star:
“Denise has loads of rhythm and she’s superfit so she should be a great contestant. She’s never done ballroom before but she’s certainly got the raw materials to wow on the dance floor.”

Other stars said to be taking part in the new series of 'Strictly' including Girls Aloud singer and fellow West End star Kimberley Walsh. Westlife’s Nicky Byrne is also set to step into his dancing shoes, not that his past skills of singing on a stool will help him.
On the sporting side, Olympic champs Victoria Pembleton and Louis Smith plus cricketer Michael Vaughn are also rumoured to have signed up whilst TV faves, Fern Britton, Dani Harmer (aka Tracy Beaker), Richard Arnold, Johnny Ball and Sid Owen and model and ex-wife of Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall are also donning the sequins. We can't wait!
