Daniel Radcliffe is the star of upcoming horror film 'Woman In Black' but, when talking to the folks at MTV, it seems the Potter star doesn't know his way around the genre at all...
When you ask someone their most terrifying horror film, they usually opt for an old classic, such as 'The Shining', or a gory new flick, such as 'The Strangers'. However, Daniel Radcliffe is not your ordinary guy.
When Danny spoke to MTV about all things scary, he named a surprising flick as his most fright-inducing:
"'Jumanji,' funnily enough. The giant spiders in 'Jumanji' freaked me out as a kid, because I used to wake up in the middle of the night thinking I was seeing them around me."
To be fair to the guy, giant spiders are pretty horrifying. We have enough trouble dealing with the ones in the bath, let alone those the size of small dogs! But, sensing his first answer was probably not quite up to movie-buff scratch, Radcliffe quickly racked his brains for a "proper horror film" that scared him as a child:
"I never watched 'The Exorcist.' I never saw it when I was a kid. I've watched it since," he said. "When I was 12, all my friends were saying 'You should watch 'The Exorcist,' it's really funny. You'll just find it funny.' I watched it later, thinking I would not have found that funny at 12. I'm terrified now. I would have been scared then."
Bless him. We can't wait to see the look on his face when his character comes across the terrifying spectre in the 'Woman In Black'...
Danny looks pretty sharp at the premiere of W.I.B, doesn't he?
